About Carol

From TaiwanAunt Sister Educator Therapist

Hi there,

This is Carol (they/them), thank you for taking some time to consider working together.

Therapy is a space we create together, that serves to rehabilitate our relationships to ourselves and to the people in our lives. My care practice is anchored in somatics, collective liberation movements, and Internal Family Systems-informed parts work. From this foundation, I have accompanied people through survivorship of relational, sexual, and political violence.

I enjoy that, in therapy, we deeply experience our inner story, cultural influences, and the heritage of our instincts. As we grow in self understanding, we can become aware of the patterns that have longed to rest, releasing what has become exasperating. In that release, we return our inner world to a form that is more liberated and true.

You know your life best, and I learn from you on how best to integrate my skills for your needs. Please see Areas of Focus to get to know more about my practice.

With care,
Carol Lin
